Introduction & Terms of Service
The Nature of Service
  • Anar-blink is a digital marketplace connecting independent service providers ("workers") with individuals or businesses looking to hire ("employers").
  • Anar-blink is not an employer, labor broker, or recruitment agency.
  • The handshake created on this platform is a direct contract between the employer and the worker.
User Eligibility & Accounts
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. Any users under 18 will not be permitted to register.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate information. Use of fake names or "alias" accounts to defraud others will result in an immediate permanent ban.
Verification & "Verified Citizen" Badge
  • Users may request a "verified" badge by uploading a clear photo of their South African ID, valid passport or asylum document, and a selfie.
  • Privacy (POPIA): by uploading your ID, you consent to Anar-blink storing this data securely for the sole purpose of identity verification and platform safety.
  • A verified badge confirms a basic identity check was performed. It is NOT a guarantee of work quality or character.
Payments & Wallet System
  • Job posting: when an employer posts a job, the total estimated funds are immediately deducted from their wallet and held by the system.
  • Payment release: funds are released to the worker's wallet only when the employer clicks "Pay".
  • Finality: once "Pay" is clicked, the transaction is final and non-refundable. Employers should be satisfied with the quality of work before finalising.
  • Platform fees: Anar-blink reserves the right to charge a service fee on transactions, displayed at the time of payment.

User Reliability
Chat & Evidence Vault
  • Users must use the built-in chat for all job-related discussions.
  • Sharing phone numbers or bank details to bypass the platform is a violation of these terms.
  • All chat messages and "proof of work" images are stored in our Evidence Vault for the safety of both parties.
  • In the event of a dispute, Anar-blink administrators may review chat logs and images to determine payment outcomes.
  • Anar-blink can only view chat logs if a report has been made or an account is under investigation.
User Conduct & Safety
  • Users may not send inappropriate, offensive, or illegal images or messages.
  • Use the "Safety Report" feature to flag scams, harassment, or off-platform payment requests.
  • Anar-blink reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account for violations of safety rules.
Limitation of Liability
  • Anar-blink is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from a job arranged through the platform.
  • We do not guarantee work quality or safe working conditions. Check ratings and verified statuses before engaging.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Safety & GPS Shield
Purpose & Scope
  • This Code of Conduct establishes standards for day-to-day interactions on Anar-blink. All users agree to adhere to these rules to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment.
  • Applicable to all registered users (employers and workers). Policy Version 1.0 Beta.
Professional Standards & Reliability
  • Once a job is confirmed via the platform, it constitutes a professional agreement. Punctuality is mandatory.
  • Failure to arrive at the job site or communicate through proper channels may result in a fine or penalty.
Cancellation Protocols
  • Cancellations must be communicated through the in-app chat at least 4 hours prior to the start time.
Site Conduct
  • Workers must respect the property and privacy of the employer.
  • Employers must provide a safe and clear workspace as described in the job post.
  • Anar-blink is not responsible for any damage or misconduct occurring on the property during or after work.
Financial Integrity & Off-Platform Prohibitions
  • All payments must be processed via Anar-blink's escrow wallet to ensure the safety of both parties.
  • Transactions outside the escrow wallet may lead to penalties, fines, and permanent platform removal.

Important: Bypassing the payment system voids all Safety Shield (SOS) protections and any coverage afforded to you as a user.

Prohibited Activities
Circumvention Policy
  • Users are strictly prohibited from soliciting or accepting payments outside the platform (cash, private EFT, etc.).
  • Bypassing the system voids all Safety Shield (SOS) protections and insurance coverage.
Safety, Harassment & Discrimination
  • Anar-blink maintains a zero-tolerance policy on harassment, physical violence, verbal abuse, sexual misconduct, and discrimination.
  • Violations put the account under investigation; payment may be paused to ensure fair labor practices.
  • No user shall be discriminated against based on race, gender identity, religion, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
  • GPS & SOS compliance: malicious use or false alarms will result in immediate account suspension.

Disciplinary Action: Failure to comply may result in formal warnings, lowered reputation scores, or permanent deactivation of your Anar-blink account.

Financial Integrity & Ethics
Core Philosophy
  • Anar-blink is founded on the principles of dignity, equity, and transparency. Every South African has the right to work and hire in a market defined by honesty and mutual respect.
Ethical Handshakes
  • Fair representation: all users must be truthful in their profiles. Workers shall not misrepresent the scope of work or site conditions.
  • Fair payouts: payments must reflect agreed-upon rates without hidden deductions or scope creep. Equal pay for equal work.
Respect for Human Dignity
  • Our platform shall never be used for exploitative labor practices.
  • We actively monitor for signs of unfair labor practices and protect the vulnerable within our network.

Enforcement
Disciplinary Framework
  • Formal written warnings issued to the offending party.
  • Reputation score penalties applied to the offending account.
  • Temporary suspension pending investigation.
  • Permanent deactivation of the Anar-blink account for severe or repeat violations.
Governing Law
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
  • Policy status: Version 1.0 Beta.
